Thinly Sliced Artisan Original Gluten-Free Bread prefers to be toasted or double toasted from frozen, depending on your toaster and personal taste. Toasting lightly or warming can also be appealing.

Remove frozen Thinly Sliced pieces as needed, sometimes tapping the top of frozen slices with a butter knife to separate, returning the remainder of the loaf to the freezer.

The frozen Whole Loaf is first thawed. After thawing, the loaf can be prepared, or kept in the refrigerator for up to two weeks, or shaded at room temperature for a few days. My preference is to slice and toast as desired out of the refrigerator.

Slice to your own preferred thickness and toast. With different knife blades you can achieve you own desired bread texture. You can also warm the Whole Loaf in the oven for the table. 

The Whole Loaf can be transformed into stuffing, breadcrumbs, slices for melts and panini sandwiches.  For thick slice French toast, it is recommended to toast lightly first to take out moisture, making room for what you will dip the bread in before going into the pan.  When soaking slices, press the edges with a fork to gradually saturate the bread.

The Whole Grain Panino Rolls are great when finished whole in the oven for the dinner table, from either frozen or thawed. When thawed first, you can also slice or split to toast for spreads or as a bun.  If fork split before toasting, the texture will be like an English muffin. 

When baking Gregorio’s Whole Grain Panino Rolls from frozen, you can bake at 400° for 16 minutes, or if thawed 400° for 10 minutes.  Adjust temperature and baking time for oven type and personal taste. The package directions are at a lower temperature and shorter length of time.
